Beyern mesh
I got a great deal on a set of beyern mesh 18 inch wheels. They are 8.5's with an ET of 15. Will these work on my 2011 323i? They have 255/35/18's all around. Is ET15 ok? I knew when I bought these it was a risk, the tires are like new,I think 255 in front is too big.
I have looked at the calculator , and I'm not sure. I search online and found a guy who put the same setup(but smaller tires) on a 2007. The girl I bought it from showed me a picture with the mags on her car. I noticed an old tire in her shed,it looked like it chunked a little. I'm assuming it was making contact with something, I don't want that. Everything is stock on my car. This is an extra set of wheels, might use them in the winter. So I might just sell these tires anyways. So basically will this set up work Thanks |

I have a set of 225/50/17 (wheels 17 X 7.5 ET 20) it rubs a little bit... especially when the car is loaded with passengers... I would say you are probably going to rub and/or have fender clearance issues

Way more aggressive than I'd recommend up front, especially with that 255/35/18 tire. The rear might not pose as much of a problem, but the fronts aren't going to work very well in my opinion.

Honestly I'd probably just try and get a different set of wheels that are in the proper offsets.

I was trying to get an informed response, I don't want to be wasting my time if I don't have to. I believe I got the appropriate response from James and VMR wheels.
I will be taking VMR's advice. Thanks Last edited by bigxgun; 12-23-2013 at 10:17 PM.. |
