Single turnos everywhere

Have you guys seen this set up? The routing of the pipes looks like a bit extra no?

Looks like they are trying to make the runners equal length. A must for max spool especially on a twin scroll.

Given how much it sucked to get to all the nuts on the fftec manifold, I CANNOT imagine how much it would suck to install that!

Garage List
That looks a bit excessive.

I'm curious to see where they place the o2 sensors on the manifold.

If they know about that issue, I'd imagine in the 3-1 collectors pointed forward and rearward. Only places that would make sense and/or fit.

Can't believe I didn't notice right away...they completely blocked the motor mount bolt holes on the block. Good luck with that!

I personally would not go through all the effort; but I can't knock them for trying it out. It's just too bad the N54 engine compartment doesn't have more room. It does look like a real PITA to install LOL.

I like the fact that they are giving the B.W. EFR a shot.

Shorter runners make for faster spool. The equal length will be good for HP, though.

Yes, shorter would be better, but as full-race has demonstrated, the timing of the exhaust pulses on a twin scroll application are critical as well.

hmmm

thats just crazy!? the gains from all that "extra" work would me so insignificant that it just couldnt be worth it. someone get some numbers and then have him throw a set of vishnu's manifolds on there and run the dyno again. I can bet theres no BIG difference.

You mean fftec/vishnu manifold. Gotta give credit where it's due...unless you speak of the top mount. That's straight up fftec.
