We have seen these before and Im not surprised at all. These races are all done via the roll (the dig is a no brainer for the gtr) and the AWD system and the GTR's weight for a 2 door sports car vs the underrated 560 hp of the F10/13 engine clearly allows the M to pull. In the real world its a drivers race no doubt.

and in before any one says it: yes a few simple bolt ons and the GTR says goodbye.

Exactly I did a 40 roll with a 580whp-600whp 560-590wtrq gtr and it walked me charcoal filters gone and bms +2.2.

Its a nice run, but the GTR is a gruppeM intake price spent away from being uncatchable for our cars that are tuneless. I don't blame are cars frankly they're beasts for stock performance I blame BMW ECU coders and tuners who either won't crack it or can't for this car not being able to be taken to the next level.

Its a 10 second 1/4 mile car with a proper tune... Such a shame.

In that first video on the top, what they didn't show at the end was how the F10 M5 transformed into Megatron and blasted the GTR away with freakin laser beams!

I owned both (stil have the M6) 9/10 times the GTR will own an M6 from a dig... but like I posted above its a drivers race on the street. That wet race is a joke to me and thats my opinion (factual) owning both cars.

Im a bimmer lover but not a roundel nut hugger LOL

AMG 8... BMW 6 in my ownership resume but that doesnt define my preference- just the way the cars came out and how I bought them.

Tune me a crank 664 lb/ft car to almost 700 lb/ft at the wheels and Ill stroke my Merc all day long... Oh I love your heels in that pic btw. You like my NewBalance's??

Bolt ons? you mean tuned right?. TUNES ARE cheating if you compare but stock for stock which majority people cars are, the m5 wins and I am shock still. but your right its a drivers race but still idc how bad driver you car for the m5 to win, he must suck then if its really a drivers race or the m5 is just better and faster than a gtr

that's unfortunate that the m5 is not so tuner friendly, but who cares it beats a GTR why more? that says a lot of bmw

hahaha I bet it does too bad it was not shown on the video. I am just more in love with the m5 now, mine only has 300 miles on it now I got it 2 weeks ago and I have heard a lot of haters tell me, oh your m5 is still slower than an GTR. they can suck it now. cannot wait till the 1200 mile break in service.

Sure, that is probably the one and only video of a M6 beating a GTR from a standstill in the wet. I just happened to remember it and thought it to good an opportunity to pass

All I know is that if you put a Meth kit on the F10 M5 it could beat 15 GTR's at once. Or maybe I should say beat off 15 GTR's at once. LOL!

Tune will get a win too--- bolt ons will get a crush. As I originally posted I only mentioned before someone else came in here crying that a tuned or modded GTR would spank a stock F10/13.

Ummm my talk about my tuned SL was not related to the GTR. It was about RPIM5's commentary about my liking of AMG's.

Stock for stock the M5 should walk it. Once the Gtr gets a tune its game over. Once the M5 gets a tune, well.... who knows if we'll even get one LOL>.

Stock vs Stock with ALL conditions equal and rolling race where both cars start their push at the same time; yes the f10/13 should pull but not to a level of "walk" imho.

But like i said, conditions conditions conditions....

Agreed. I do think though The M will have an advantage as it approaches higher speeds.
