Added black accents to my beige interior, plus trim wrap, before and after pics
I have never liked my interior very much, but I compromised on it when buying my car. I have modded the outside of my car quite a bit, but I haven't done any work to my interior until now. One of the best ways to improve the appearance of beige is to add some black accents to create some contrast, and ditch the wood trim.
I still have a ways to go, I would like to change my steering wheel next. I have found a local interior shop, that I plan on hiring to refinish my door cards in black while only leaving the middle inserts beige. I also plan on doing the B, and C pillars in black when I do the doors. I would like to replace the front seats with m3 seats as well, but I'm not sure if I will fork out the cash for the seats. Anyway, so far I have: -Replaced beige center console with black center console. - I have purchased both, black oem all weather mats, and black Bav Auto plush mats, instead of beige. - I had the wood trim wrapped in carbon fiber fabric. ( The reason I chose the fabric is because it has a matte finish, which I think looks better than gloss when paired with beige) -Replaced drink holder trim, and surrounding trim with black. -Replaced ''A'' Pillars with black ones. -Replaced passenger door clasp, with black. -Replaced auto shift assembly with plain black leather boot, and new knob. (The original looked very outdated to me) I have black speaker covers and door inserts but I have not installed them yet. Before and after Pics are posted below.

Haha on the gun comment. I know what you mean with it clashing, but I think once I do the doors and the b, and c pillars everything will flow better, I still think it's an improvement visually, although it is a work in progress...

Not feeling the black center console or the black A pillars. Maybe it needs more black in there? Lol
With the money you spent on that tall (ugly imo) 6mt shifter you could have probably gotten the AT performance knob and it would have looked better. Just my 2 cents |

The shift knob is actually out of my old five series I stuck it on there for now, but I'm not sure I will keep it. I personally don't think it's ugly, but I have considered replacing it with another option. Not sure which one to choose yet...

Thanks mario, your interior, was an influence to me for sure. I need to get the same steering wheel next! Did you have trouble getting the speaker covers installed, I am having a hard time getting them in...

It looks like that is a solid black center console with just the armrest section in oyster. I could do something like that just by replacing the armrest cover, I guess. It's definitely an idea to consider. The oyster looks great with all of that black, hopefully I will achieve a similar amount of contrast, once I 'm done swapping out more black components.

I like the interior! The black and beige matches well. Perhaps plasti dipping the rest of the hard plastic on the interior would look great, like Iboosts photo.

I just think the plain leather boot looks cleaner, than the at assembly. I just stuck my old knob from my totaled five series on there for the hell of it, but I might put the performance AT knob on instead, I haven't made up my mind yet.

Nope I'm not sure who would think that, since I don' have a clutch pedal. No one would really see it accept for passengers in my car anyway, so what difference does it make, they know I don't have a manual...
