New owner with some questions
Hello,
I just bought a 2009 335i sedan with the Sports Package and an M Sport suspension. Here are my immediate plans, it should be going into the shop (3zero3) right after I take delivery of the car from San Francisco. I've searched around this site quite a bit and it's been really helpful. Rotiform IND wheels: 19x8.5 et35 and 19x10 et25 Tires: 235/35s and 265/30s Springs: H&R Engine: JB4 with the DCIs and the oil catch can. What else am I forgetting? Any advice for a new owner? The car has 33k miles. 5 or 10mm spacers up front to be flush? I look forward to learning as much as I can from you folks. I just sold my 2004 R32. Thank you, John |

Is a rear sway bar in order? I need to replace the front grill too with some carbon fiber. |

I got a Quaife ATB LSD on my 335i and it was 1100 GBP installed (900GBP for the parts). So wouldn't have thought it would it run to 2700 USD.
Mind you it bolted straight in to mine whereas some models need to be welded in. No doubt that would impact price. The Quaife is purely mechanical (no clutches) and has a lifetime warranty. Good luck with your tuning, love your wheel choice - kind of takes me back to rallying's glory days |

Thanks, I looked for the right wheels forever.
It looks like 12mm on the front will make a 19x8.5 wheel flush at a 35et. Last edited by BlackMountainMotorworks; 01-20-2014 at 08:22 PM.. |

I just finally took delivery of the car. I am so impressed on every level. The Rotiforms get installed tomorrow, Burger parts probably on Friday.
I'll take some pics tomorrow if the gaps aren't too bad, I think it'll be fine with the M Sport suspension. |
