stock tire size on 18x8.5 rim
Hey guys just bought a 2014 328i xdrive sport line and planning to use the stock rims as winter rims. My question is can use the stock tire size (225/45/18) on staggered wheel set I have my eyes on that use a 18x8.5 as the rear pair of wheels and 18x8 for the front (which imknow will fit).

No major issues other than rear tires being stretched .5 inches outside recommended tolerances, but I have seen people run same size tires on 11 inch wheels because it "looks cool" and seem to get around fine. Personally I would either purchase wheels for non staggered (sell/trade staggered to pay for non) or just order a winter tire setup that runs a 255 rear.
