Good start, that engine bay yellow is really going to pop! Are you doing other pieces in yellow too?

Speaking from experience...you will HATE removing that in a couple years when it needs replacing. I'm doing plastidip this time. Hopefully it's easier to remove down the road.

Got ram air scoops for behind the grill that will be the same color and want to do the calipers. Was trying to think of other things also.

Didn't finish everything I had planned, to much got in the way and the shadowline trim took forever... But did get the following done.

Matt black shadowline trim
CF emblems installed, hood, trunk, wheels and steering wheel

In process
Painted engine cover yellow
Painted ram air yellow
M aluminum pedals
CF Grills

Need to black out that chrome grill! Nicely done on the shadow-trim, how expensive/difficult to apply is it?

CF grills are on the way and should be here next week. The shadowline trim is not expensive, think it was $30 shipped but it is a pain to install, most isn't to bad but on the e92 coupe around the back curve of the windows it is very difficult. Decided to do the shark fin and see what that looks like...

Were the emblems pretty straight forward? I have my CF emblems on the way now. I have never done BMW emblems before so not sure what to expect. I have however debadged the 335i in the rear, process similar?

BTW- Can't wait to see the engine!

No, the emblems are different to 335i badge.
They are just attched by 2 lugs, you will see when your new ones arrive.
Use something like parcel strapex behind the emblems and prise up.
