Battery broken and this warning light show up and can't start the car. swap a new battery but warning light still gose on and still cannot start the car, already disconnect the battery for one night but error does not go.... Done some research, it can be cleared by diagnostic tool, but just don't have it... Any one would be able to help here? Last edited by z19930612; 02-11-2014 at 12:03 PM.. |

What a response, incase you didn't realise Leicester is a big county a little more precise might help. But considering the stupid response by the op, I bid you fair well I'm not going to offer!

You need the new battery registered with the car or it won't work, and also since it's gone flat you will need to reset various items via the OBD plug. Had this happen to me when mine lost charge last year, lucky for me I knew a local indy who came and sorted it all in a matter of minutes.
Good luck sorting it, and whatever you do don't keep trying to start it or you'll trigger the tamper lockout. |
