Trunk Logo Placement E92
I was debadged and am now going gloss black 335i on trunk. I got the logo from BAV because its all on one sheet versus individual numbers and letter. Can someone measure how far it is from edge of trunk (where it comes up around tailight) to the "i" logo and how far up from bottom edge of trunk to bottom of 335 numbers and letter "i" ?
Thank you . |

i wish i had known you could buy the sheet. i called all the dealerships within a 50 mile radius until i spoke to a service adviser who was cool enough to load up their tool with my new badges and press them on perfectly.

Someone posted this in another debadging thread from a while back. Hopefully it helps.
I can't remember who it was exactly... So if you're out there and you see this, thanks again! Edit: It was 1QuikWS6 and the post is here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...23&postcount=3

Perfect. Thanks again. As to wwc310 I hope it's a full sheet! BAV said it was but it has not arrived yet. I could not imagine trying to get these straight with single numbers without the old logo present. Im sure some of you could pull it off but I couldnt.

lol this is often a giveaway when bodywork is done on a vehicle. Just go to the mall and measure 2 vehicles in the parking lot (chances of both being off are slim). If the 2 are different, find a 3rd to break the tie. If all 3 are different, I would say stay debadged.

See this thread where I measured where my badge is placed for another user.

Just an update for anyone. I got the new numbers and letter from BAV today and they are NOT on a single sheet as I was told when ordering. They are in individual packages. Im going to give it a shot however using the useful information the above posters provided.
