328i No Line Wheel and Tire Upgrades

Right now I'm right about 30,000 miles on my stock contential tires that came on my BMW 393 and are getting to the point I need to replace my tires.

I have 2 options right now that I'm considering:

1.) Buying new tires for my current wheel set (either non run-flat and buying a extra wheel for a spair, or run flats all around probally Goodyear F1 or something on par).

2.) Buying a Take off set of wheels 397 or 441 and tires and selling off my old wheels. (about the same price if not less than option1 )

My only problem is the impact of the sport wheel set up 397 vs the M-Sport 441 wheel set up on my car how much would that impact my ride and performance (less unsprung weight and different stiffness). I don't know if it impacts the consideration, but I'm getting the Sport Performance BMW Suspention installed in early spring.

Would the performance of the 397 be different than the 441 wheels? if so by how much would it impact the ride? And vs the 393 would it be worth the hastle to upgrade to these sport orentaited wheels?

Get the M Sport wheels with a set of summer tires. They seem to be pretty easy to find. Don't sell your 393 wheels . Save them and put dedicated snow tires on.

I live in an area where it only snows 2-5x a year, so winter tires aren't a top priority budget item.

As of Right now I'm thinking selling my 373 for 225ish each and getting a 441 set /w tires and only end up spending about 900$ to upgrade my wheels and get summer tires.

I got a set of take off 397s for winter use and will use the Msport wheels for the summer. With the 328 Msport suspension the difference in handling and grip is pretty apparent. As you would expect the ride is softer and there is more body roll with the 397s on the Bridgestone turanzas. The difference isn't enormous, but it is just enough to change the character of the car. Fine for winter, but after the potholes are filled in April I will be happy to switch back to summers
