Bmw 335i p1891 code

I'm getting mixed results about this code some say wheel speed sensors others say clutch some say transfer case etc..

Basically I wanna know what this code is for our car!!!

The torque app says power train?

Basically all the lights known to man kind on this car go on everything electronical doesn't work such as lights idrive windows unless I'm completely stopped, the speedometer doesn't go up the car doesn't shift stays at like 2-3k rpms don't know how fast I'm going?.. Dsc brake etc lights go on, it says engine overheating which it's not??

What is causing all this?

What year car do you have? Did BMW ever issue the battery cable recall in the UK?

When my battery cable went, my car was doing some of these flaky things. They replaced my fuse box under the terms of the recall.

Electrical problems will manifest themselves in different and unexpected ways. The point is your car's electrical system seems to be freaking out.

What year is your car?

So, that model year was part of the NA battery cable recall. I'd check to see whether the UK had any related recalls. It's the "every conceivable light on" part that caught my attention - that's what my car was doing, and the fuse panel was fried.

Regardless of the recall, given the symptoms I wouldn't mess around - get the car to a dealer pronto.

P1891 is not a valid OBD II code. It isn't listed in the manual.

P -power train
1 -BMW
8 -not valid
91-unknown

Ngee I think you're right cause I was driving my moms 550 this entire time to get to work and back, and today I went to put something in my car and the doors wouldn't unlock with the key and when I put it into ignition it wouldn't light up!

Also I think I have a 2011 bmw 5 series battery in my car when I replaced it, the Indy shop said that they only had that battery and that it should work, and since I was in desperate need to drive my car I bought that battery and installed it.. Will that make a difference? The batteries looked exactly identical?

Mismatch battery types, while not recommended idk if that would cause your issues, did you register/program it? Something that you could look into though.

Battery Registration/Programming....2 Different Procedures!
