Jumping on in!
I've done my two weeks of lurking these forums so it's time I say, Hey! Purchased my first BMW ever after being a Honda and Mazda guy. Could never afford a BMW plus the cost of mods. Finally the time has come although mods will come more slowly just due to price.
2011 lease return with 36k on it. Automatic so the wife can drive it. My first question would be about spacers. This will be my first mod to close up some of the gap. Do people match the front and rear spacer? Rear only? Bigger in the rear than the front? I was thinking of going 12mm in the rear and 5mm in the front bringing the style 189 to ET25 in the rear and ET29 in the front. Thanks in advance for feedback. |

Congrats! Beautiful car
As far as spacers, I run 15mm all around. Staggered 19s in the summer (with some rubbing) and staggered 18s in the winter. I know most people do 10s or 12s in the front, though. I just like 15s better.

I wish I could see some quality pictures with 189s and specific sized spacers on an LCI E92. Looking at my current gap and it does seem huge. |

Go with 15mm in the back if you want to be safe. But 12mm at the front is definitely okay. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=754625 |

I wish there was a shop that had the entire set so you could try before you buy. |

So I went ahead and ordered 12mm spacers for the rear only.
I measured my gap as best I could and with the Style 189 wheels on the LCI E92 there isn't much of a gap in the front. Maybe 10mm. There is a lot in the back but the inner fender sticks inward quite a bit. Spending some time searching online, it looks like 15mm spacers in the rear will rub on occasion with Sport suspension. I plan on getting KW V1 coilovers and dropping it a bit and don't want any clearance issues. I will document this well so owners in the future will be able to find definitive information on this specific setup. Thanks for all the help guys. |

I don't know anything about spacers, but wanted to say welcome and congrats on the nice car!
