Hi,
I'm looking for an indy to carry out the first service on my e91 since I bought it. Can anyone recommend a good indy centred on Hinckley, Leics?
I've been recommended Darren Woods but he's a bit far, Seen Auto Technik in Lutterworth but can't find any comments on them so looking for first hand recommendations please.

I could make some recommendations,but you would have to travel.To be honest,I'd be prepared to travel (a lot!) to get the right place...

I would highly recommend All fours garage on Queens road Leicester. They haven't got a flash showroom or fancy website but the main mechanic (Andy) is the only guy I would trust to work on my car in the local area. I've tried other garages over the years and have now realised to just to stick to the guys I know and trust.

He has installed downpipes, antiroll roll bars, water pump, high pressure fuel pump on my 335. Currently ive booked in with him to have an aftermarket oil cooler fitted. His also done turbo replacements on a 330d and has a RX7 track car which he does up in his spare time so knows his way around cars

Don't be put off by the fact the garage is advertised as a 'Peugeot/Citron Specialist'. If you go there on weekends your find him working on 911s, 370Zs, GT86s....so you know your car is in safe hands.

Not in Hinckley but you could try Garage 786 on Barkby Road, Leicester. Used them a few years ago and a great bunch of guys.

I've been looking for a decent indy in Leicester as well and have had my eye on auto technik, they look good. Going to go check them out next week. I've been to garage 786 but been put off by some of their customer service.

I've found 786 to be fine, very good customer service, infact. I use All Fours more because they are open at weekends where as 786 isn't, and because I've been using All Fours for nearly a decade for various cars and have never found a reason to complain!!

Took the car into Auto Technik and they were very good. The guys who worked on my car were careful and attentive.

Wesley seems to be knowledgeable and he was very helpful on the day.

Firmly reccommended and I will certainly use them again.

There are a few places I would advise, some near by, some a bit further from Leicester, but right now I take 3 cars (all BMWs) to BR Cartronics, in Merry Lees.

I highly recommend them, great service, good pricing and nothing to really complain about. The owner, Bernard, is a great guy, very thorough and does a good job to fix the problem using real world approach to solving it, not just replacing parts etc to hope for the best.

Sorry mate I completely missed this post, I have used auto technik a couple of times and they are spot on. I'd trust them more than Sytner.
