This is a worry for me because my two dogs are frequently in the boot. I'm glad no one was hurt though!

Whiplash all day long that, car dont look great, glad everyone is ok though, i would personally have a claim on whiplash if you have a good gp you will get it done without missing work, it will give you the money to source another and whatever mods you may have done

Ouch! Glad you're alright.

I was going to ask how your boot floor looked but seeing the crumpled OSR wing, on top of the rest of the damage, I think you're looking at a write-off unfortunately.

I just saw you post this on facebook - well, technically your other half. Didn't know you were on here!

Glad the dugs weren't in the car. Are you going to just get it fixed / get another?

Yeah, she managed to scare my parents with the pictures before I told them about it.

Thankfully the dogs were staying at home and tearing the house apart today.
I doubt it'll be repairable to be honest, I'll find out on Wed hopefully but, it's a good excuse to buy something completely impractical and ridiculous.

I couldn't even get to the boot floor! Safe to say that I didn't manage to get either of the dog blankets out.

Without going off on a tangent, all the people on here that seem to be advocating making up a whiplash claim to prof from it; isn't it interesting how they are the same people that whinge that people are scamming insurance companies and forcing premiums up?!

If someone is genuinely injured, fine. I had bloody ambulance chasers calling me up for about six months after someone smashed into the back of my car, offering me 'substantial compensation for the no doubt severe whiplash I had sustained'.

My car was parked in the street and I was still in my pit when it happened. Some companies still reckoned they could get me cash!! Fucking unscrupulous if you ask me!

Very fortunate and unlucky at the same time. That could have been very serious.

Thanks, and you're right. In all honesty yes I am in a fair bit of muscular pain but, I have felt a lot worse after a friendly game of rugby.

Hope you're ok, ouch!
Judging by the damage to mine and they wrote it off I'd say that was pretty terminal unfortunately.

I second that.

A bit of a shame it had to be spelled out though.

OP, sorry about your car dude. At least you're ok. That'll be a write off IMO, doesn't take much to write a car off these days unfortunately.
