Phones that download their contacts to iDrive?
What phones are there from Cingular that download their contacts into iDrive?
I saw the list of bluetooth compat. phones, but am not sure if this means they are good to go on the downloading function. I might not have searched deep enough, but if someone could clarify which phones have this ability, that would be great. And the iPhone is out of the question.

I'm with Fido, but the Nokia 6126 that Cingular/AT&T also sells works perfectly.

Sony-Ericsson W850i works, too. But it's not avail here...
I thought most current bluetooth phones did this.

iPhone works fine with wifi on if you just leave it in your pocket. (I think the problem came up when people plugged the phone into their 6FL connectors.)

As far as Cingular stock goes, just about anything made by Motorola should work just fine. I haven't found one that doesn't. All the RAZR/SLVR/PEBL/KRZR/RAZR2 etc phones should be golden, and I've actually tried most of them. If you want to use one of the Linux phones (eg RAZR2 V8) let me know and I can test one. |

Cool thanks for the offer but I won't be using a Linux phone.

FWIW...I gave up on my BJ1 and the official WM6and upgraded to a BJ2.
Pairing was cake, and it recognizes the phone properly instead of cutting in/out like the old. Both SIM and Outlook contacts seem to transfer over as well. I only have a few so far so the real test will be when I transfer all contacts over from the old BJ1. I did notice some in call echo from my voice but it seemed to be more volume level feedback as when I lowered it, the feedback was minimized. Its only been a day so far, but it looks promising.
