3rd gear pull against a 2013 S4

I was very surprised today. I have a 2013 335i Xdrive F30 6 speed with MPPK and a AFE dry flow drop in oem intake (Basically stock). On my way home I saw a kid I knew in his 2013 S4, his car has the sport S tronic dual clutch transmission. The kid also has an exhaust and a stage 1 tune (not sure what brand of both). I would say he has to have at least 40 hp to the wheels above stock. I also realize the S4 is heavier (3,935 pounds VS 3,591 pounds.)

I instantly put my car into sport + mode, got next to him put my window down and said lets do some 3rd gear pulls. After the third tap of the horn I instantly pulled away from him I would say at least an entire car and 1/2 a head of him. I was infront of him up until 120 mphs, he then gained on me and eventually passed slowly and I probably let off the gas earlier then he did .

With that said I believe MPPK is drastically under rated. I have a 6 speed so my car lacks the torque converter needed to get me the extra torque with MPPK and I was still able to beat him. I just thought I would share this proud moment with you guys .

The B8 has basically 0 lag and it especially evident lined up against a turbo car. Try being higher in the RPM range and brake boosting. Should help off the line.
