How does the GPS power on and off with the car? Is the cable coming from inside of the dash where its mounted? Mike |

1 - use the bmw cable provided with the mount, tap into the stereo, code the car and you get the navigation sound from the speakers (too much work for me) 2 - what I did: Used the garmin cables with the traffic received, hide everything behing the glove box and tapped on the car lighter (which is off when the car is off), this way it turns on and off with the car and everything looks neat  The new version of the mount, which is the one I used, is screwed behind the trimming, so look for the latest version (just search the forum for the part number) that way it is totally reversible with no damage to the dash
