I thought it could be interresting to see if the actual orders will match the pre-order poll on M3/M4 takers.

Looks like the M4 buyers have started off quicker or maybe all initial M3 allocations are gone? I'll be adding to the M3 quota when my dealer accepts ED msrp. It's up in the air currently, initial answer was US msrp for ED, to hell with that.

19th week of the year, so May 5th to May 11th. Three weeks ago I was worried that things were being moved back, but I checked with my advisor and it stayed the 19th week. Nothing has changed and I never adjusted my order. It can't come fast enough!

Via a print off from my advisor at the dealership. The last one I had emailed to me showed status 111, but I went in a couple of weeks ago when I was getting my Porsche serviced and it showed status 112. My advisor has been excellent throughout the process and it helps because he is such a fan of BMW motorcycles and cars.

How is that everyone has early build dates? Launch cars? I have the first M3 customer car for my dealer in NY. They are saying a first week of August build.. It doesn't make any sense to me.. Someone enlighten me.. The dealer has no clue and has M4 allocations with earlier builds...It's a deal breaker for me..

Dude that is crazy and something is not right! That is the latest build date I have heard with anyone having a #1 allocation. most everybody got May Builds if they were willing to take delivery as early as possible. I am the #1 buyer at my dealer and got a May build as well. I actually helped three guys today get last minute allocations that are part of my group ED and all got late May builds. I would push back or look elsewhere.

Sounds more like #1 from the next round of allocations since as I understand this first round given to dealers covers three months worth which would logically be May,June and July. If he is talking earliest August production date it sounds like round 2.

Excellent. Week 19 can't come fast enough. I don't know how feasible it will be for us to get our cars in June, but I wouldn't imagine it would be any later than July.

They have no one else!! I am the first M3 build.. It's crazy and makes no sense. And of course they seem to be clueless. I pointed out what I'm seeing on here and he doesn't know how that's possible.. I'm waiting back on an answer. If not I'm looking at different vehicles.. Being on the east coast we only get a short time to enjoy our cars!!

I'm in Canada, have the first order at my dealer and have heard production was pushed back to June and I haven't heard anything since.

Does anyone know if Canada's production timeline is officially different than the US'?
