Rims or Drop first?

WHich should I do first, Rims or Drop? And How low should I go? I have a 09 e90 LCI, with 17's currently. I'm about to purchase 19's very soon, then drop it. The thing is, i don't know which comes first. Also, how many inches do you guys recommend with 19's? Here are the rims I'm considering. Also, will these fit? Specs:

Size: 19x8.5 Front (2)/ 19x9.5 Rear (2)
Rear Bolt Pattern: 5 x 120
Offset: ET35 Front / ET35 Rear
Hubcentric 72.6mm
Color: Matte Black

Thanks man. Will do. My main concern is if they will fit. eBay says the won't, but it's obvious they do because I see these on e90s all the time, I'm just skeptical because ebay said they won't fit.

I have a 2010 E90 LCI.

They'll fit perfect you'll be very happy with the fitment.

I have 19.8.5 ET35 front, 19x9.5 rear ET35. They have about 3mm clearance when dropped on H&R sport springs in the rear with 265/30-19 tires and the suspension compressed. Just sitting in a parking lot you can tightly squeeze your pinky between the wheel and fender. Depending on tire brand of course, and camber settings. I went with Hankook V12's because of their nice rounded sidewalls. A more square tire will rub.

With those offsets, the rims will fit perfectly fine. It is when you are running low offsets with a lowered car that you start facing issues. That being said, I usually like getting rims first. Or better yet, get the rims and suspension at the same time.

Thanks for clearing that up man. I feel more confident now. How low do you recommend I go with these? And would you mind posting a photo of your setup here?

Same time.

Wheels without a drop looks dumb

Drop with stock wheels looks not that bad.

But I always do them at the same time, just wait

That looks Clean! Are you staggerred? If so would you mind posting a photo of the rear to see how aggressive it looks?

Have similar wheels on mine but Avant Garde's. with the black look it will look sinister and spacers would make it flush and aggressive
Im running 18mm on the rears and 15mm on the fronts, sits flush

I'm also not a fan of nice rims at stock height

Do drop/rims at the same time (within a week or 2). If you're talking about a month+ of downtime between.. yeah drop first.

Rims first. Myself I dropped it first and it still looked amazing with my drop first with OEM's on. But I would say rims first. It's creates more of a "looks" change at first if that's what you're going for
