New Hankooks on 328i Xdrive. Yep!

So nice to get those damn oem conti's off! These are the Hankook Ventus All Season's that I've had great luck with through the 2 crappiest winters back to back. I'd rate them over Michelin MXV4s but they're only $79 a tire! I'd pay twice that. Their Z rated rubber is on some very very nice M cars around here. This Ventus is just a nice everyday driver tire, with good grip and it plays nice with the Xdrive- virtually eliminating that annoying stutter on sharp radius and oversteer situations that I was getting with the Conti. Also, at high speeds, the Conti donuts out, but the Ventus holds beyond what I would do on public highways, so who cares if it's not up to lime rock. It's quiet, X drive likes it, and it's pretty grippy.

My local tire guy- (Ernie at Evans Mobil 06379) took the shipment from Tire Crack, swapped out, reset the tpms, painted my calipers, clips and rusty outer rotors black. $40 a wheel, all in. Left me some paint to do my lugs, when I retorque them after a few miles. Ernie is the man!

Oh, and my new spare tire is a can of Fix Flat. Did you think I wasn't going to call a flat bed anyway?

There's one "before," and the rest are "after":

BTW, right on the tire, they spell control with a "k", which should dispel any doubts right there.
