Angry Help with rough running.

A month or so ago I installed an Injen dual intake on my '07 335xi, then followed up a couple of weeks later with VRSF catless DP and the check engine light came on. I also noticed a black soot accumulation on the exhaust pipes. Installed Stage 2 LT aggressive tune this past Saturday and went for a test drive. Check engine light was out and the car ran fine for about 10 miles. On my return the check engine light came back on and car ran very rough especially on acceleration. Thoughts? I am planning to take it to my local wrench to get codes read.

Approx 56,000 miles. I thought I was pretty careful on sensors but will double check.

As an after thought I doubt o2 sensors as the car ran fine before I added the tune. Before the tune I noticed the carbon soot build up but no performance issues. After I added the tune all the problems began.

try plugs first, then coils, then injectors

Try going WOT... you'll most likely throw a code, which will at least point you in the right direction

29D1 is a misfire. Really make sure ignition coil wires are pushed in all the way. Don't trust the clips on top to push them in completely.
