Early delivery date so suddenly under a week left!

Well I got a call mid afternoon saying my F31 330d msport is approaching the dealer and my earlier date of the 8th is now the 6th!!

Silly happy now

9 days earlier than the original estimated date for delivery. It's helping the "wait of despair" to go much more swiftly as it suddenly seems close.

Just got to get through the bank holiday without it

Fantastic! I was wondering if delivery times would get shorter now we were over the March hump... (8000 3 series registered in March alone!)

I've now done 1600 miles in my F31 330D msport, and I have to say it is a superb all rounder. Trip to Coniston was fantastic to give it a bit of a work out, trips up and down the M1 have been refined & comfortable. You'll love it.

That's great to hear Chiark! Any tips for getting her settled in? Did you go for the 1200mile gentle run in or the "other" method?

I've had a few long trips in the outgoing Sportage this week and am getting excited to the point of ridiculous trying to remember from my test drive how different it will be

I suspect the delivery could have even been this week if not for the dealer fit options. But they should make the car that little bit sweeter, so have got to be worth the wait

I just drove it, either in comfort or eco pro, and to be honest the majority of the miles were motorway with the occasional A or B road in there too. I didn't treat it with kid gloves, but I did stay away from the think end of the performance.

Starting to experiment more now. It's a stunning car.

What dealer fit options did you go for? I didn't realise much was fitted at the dealer.

That's kind of my plan, not "worry" about running it in but not to thrape it to death either.....

I'm having the PPK, black grilles and front splitter which are all dealer fit options.
It still seems a bit daft that it gets built with bits that get immediately taken off......

This is going to be the longest bank holiday weekend on record!
