With the wheel adapter, I don't think it will work. I think the thinnest adapter is 15mm, so it's like putting a spacer on there. Those offsets are already a little aggressive so with the adapter, it will stick out.

And change tyre sizes to smaller, roll rear fenders and maybe some other modifications. But at least in my opinion would fit really nicely.

didn't know about this but will definitely look into; if it involves lot of modification that might affect the resale value and structural integrity, maybe I'll just sell the wheels.

had mine redrilled 4 years ago from 114 to 120. all they do is bore out the holes and press in a insert to change the sizing. only bad thing is theres no going back to 114. this is common practice with all wheel shops esp vr wheels. its totally safe and does not affect the integrity of it.

ok, not bad then. Are the Advan's in demand with the BMW crowd?

Since they were made for lexus, nissan, infiniti, hyundai, etc., won't have any problem selling them at present specs.

It's a very small difference; as Tee said they just put a new insert in. Structural integrity is fine, they're not really making new holes, just widening the ones already there. It's not like the ones where they drill 4 hole into 5 or have huge differences in pattern. I've seen some very questionable drilled wheels, but this wouldn't be one of them.

Redrilling is an option to change the bolt pattern to 5x120. Sizing is aggressive for those tires though.

looks good

did you have to bore the hole in the centre?

The wheels are coming off a g37 coupe. Amazing light weight wheels and handled well with those tires, don't feel like getting rid of them.

BTW, why does the m sport feel like its floating left n right on 100+ mph speeds on those factory wheels it came with.

I don't fully understand what you mean, but the bolt hole is drilled slightly larger and that insertion is pressed to the hole and it converts it to 5x120.

Maybe he means the hub bore? A lot of Japanese cars run smaller hub bore sizes, I believe my Infiniti is 66.1 and the BMW is 72.6.

Maybe, in that case no i didn't. My wheels have 73.1mm center bore, so slightly bigger than 72.6.

You will have rubbing issues with those tyre sizes no way those sizes will work on your car. Aspect ratio is too much as well as width. You would need like 225/35/19 and 255-265/30/19 to make those work.

And you have Lci which means that in pre-lci et17 will extend as far as et25 on Lci.

sorry to bump this up again.
I might not do the redrill but instead go for adapters. Reason being that I've winter wheels in 5x114.3 that can use the adapters too.

so given my current setup
Front: 19x9 +22 245/40/19
Rear: 19x10 +25 275/35/19

what tires specs do I have to get to use with the rims and using wheel adapters (assuming 15mm min), will not rub or no camber adjustment, and have good aspect ratio.

I'm looking into changing the tires but keeping the rims with adapters, so what would be the best setup without rubbing and no stance look ?
here's my offset with adapter.
front: 19x9 +7
Rear: 19x10 +10

don't feel like given the Advan's away unless I have to.
