Someone at the office borrowed my car and kerbed a wheel (397) parking. damage to rim and spoke.

BMW dealers offer a repair service. Any good?

I have a wheel off for repair at the moment, due back Tuesday. The dealer just used a local company for the repair. They were very good though and let me borrow another matching wheel to keep me on the road while mine is away. Very impressed with the service.

When I bought my F30 with 19s it was ex-demo and somebody had well and truly knackered the front passenger-side wheel - I don't think I could have damaged so much circumference in one go if I'd tried! The dealer said that they couldn't do them in house, but would send them off to a local guy they use. When I picked the car up they were perfect, you would never known the wheels had been damaged.

I guess it depends which dealer you're using (and therefore who they use, or whether they repair them in house) but I'm sure you can't go far wrong using the dealer.

I've also used "The Wheel Specialist" for previous cars (based in Manchester), if I remember correctly it was around £50 per wheel.

Where abouts are you based?

Live in Edinburgh (could use Peter Vardy) and work in Glasgow (could use Douglas Park). Any feedback on them appreciated.

Thanks

Dropped in yesterday. Very helpful but because the wheel has a diamond cut finish they have to send away for repair - £120.

They need the wheel for 4 days because of this but will supply another 18" BMW wheel when they have mine.

+1 I used the Wheel Specialist near Nottingham and they were fantastic. Was for my A3 with the titanium finish wheels and they did an awesome match.
