New 4 series

Picked it up last week and still trying to get the big grin of my face.

It's a 420i xdrive sport automatic in jet black with sunset glass and the front sliding armrest as the only additions.

Here are some pics

Like the number plate anonymisation!

Very nice! My local BMW dealer has an EBII 4 Series in the showroom and it looks stunning.

Very nice. Is the contrast stitching standard on the 4 series? Red stitching to match the red trim. Looks nice and not on the 3.

Red stitching and red trim is standard on the 3 series Sport the same as it's standard on this 4 series Sport (not to be confused with M Sport)

I think I would have liked red stitching on my leather seats.

Never mind. Car looks great. Black grills are a must.

That looks fantastic. I'm seriously developing a bad case of 4 series envy.

Ahhh, have you seen the seat option (no cost) in the new M Sport 4 conv? They have blue stitching (///M styley colour) and an ///M tag sewn in. Rather jazzy.

Beautiful!

Excellent choice of engine!

Really refreshing to see one without a transit engine.....

May I ask why you chose Sport over M Sport?

I never knew that. Still have chosen msport but strange it's not an option as you are paying more for mspprt

Went for sport over M-sport based on £, didn't really need the business media and you can't get the m-sport in jet black.

I'll definitely be looking into getting a black grill for it, the other car I'd been considering before I purchased the 420 was an A5 black edition. Love the stealth look.

Red trim looks a lot darker in the flesh, Wine coloured I'd say. Might not be to everyone's taste but I like it, brightens up an otherwise black cabin plus it matches the colour scheme of my MKV GTI
