Beware Wedge flash is deceiving

Mated to the Alpina transmission flash, it is so smooth and refined in D that I was wondering where the power was.

Well I just got back from a run on a deserted stretch of country road.......and there was the power. Pushed me back in my seat getting to 100, and still had more to give.

To desribe this version, I say, smooth, refined and deceptively powerful. Best of both worlds.

This is my 2nd flash from Wedge, first was powerful, a little edgey, still smooth but this version is smoother and more refined. It's great for the excutive type who want the refinement of a BMW luxury car, but the power that can take on any muscle car. My car is a sleeper.

Thanks Ken.

Btw the alpina flash in D holds 6th for so long that on a long slight grade, my car with ppk felt like it was working hard. This flash solves that problem

I just got a update and running a very aggressive map 6 with custom boost setting. Car is a little insane lol! Smooth as can be, but turns into a monster.

Is this updated flash for 100% gas or e85 blend or are there updates for both?

In the log above are these: 1st column is what I had and what the log above is at, 2nd column are what I am using now (unbelievable) & 3rd column is what I will go to if I turn it down slightly. Don't see myself doing that. Remember this is very aggressive and your car should be running perfectly and have done lots of logging to make sure everything is fine.

Can a solid map 6 be made from a few good logs?

My feelings are when tweaking within such a narrow range here - everything will be car specific. Some like the high boost and silly timing (Rob and my car included) and some don't!

I started much lower and logged and logged to make sure timing was prefect. Ran the first column all winter. I then turned it up and logged and logged and it seems solid.

this is very true, I have seen some cars that don't like it above 13*
