RB Turbo Info

I have read lots of info on RB turbos and decided they are the best choice (subjective choice not to start a debate) for my 2007 e92 335i (60kms only not miles). I have an ER charge pipe with HKS bov, 5" AMS FMIC, AR moew less down pipes, PE, and JB4 tune.

Now my question is where is the best place to order RB turbos (I live in canada). Is it more cheap to order straight from the company or someone who carries their product? Also those of you who have got them installed professionally, how many hours did it take and what was the cost?

I can't do it myself and I dont have the tools or space necessary. I have a guy who installs this kind of stuff but I wanted to gain a sense of what other people have paid before getting a quote. I tried looking on all the threads (not trying to be a rookie) but most of them were just great information about how they work, how much they put out tuned properly, and how awesome they are! haha Any other suggestions are appreciated! Thanks for the help

I recommend you email or call rob directly to get any pre-order questions answered: contact directly 314-630-8950 or rob.rbturbo@gmail.com. Rob may know someone close to you who has already had them installed.

I did not order from the website. I emailed Rob a few times to make sure I understood full payment including shipping and then just sent the $ via paypal.

Install hours and quotes can vary. Anywhere in the neighborhood of $1000-$1400 is reasonable to have someone with experience, the correct tools, and a lift do the install labor. Talked a bit about it on my rb install thread from Dec 2011 here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=625090. Mine were installed by a BMW tech that was doing weekend side work. Zero install issues, and zero issues since install.

Anybody have their RB turbos installed by RB himself? I'm near to him geographically and that might be the best option for me, that way you couldn't put any blame on installer error if there are any problems....If so, how much did he charge?
