Tensioner pulley question

I have an n54 e92 and wanted to change my belt and tensioner. So I order the kit off of ecstuning. It comes in and both pulleys on the tensioner are smooth. The one on my car is ribbed. I talked to rep at ecs and they say it's suppose to be smooth but I talked to my BMW rep here and he said the part number is correct but 1 pulley should be ribbed. Does anyone have the 2 smooth pulleys on their car? I'm worried about the belt slipping off. Pls let me know

They are both smooth. Double check your stock one i bet it just has marks where the ribbed part of the belt runs. The ECS kit is INA and that is who makes the factory tensioner.

I have replaced the belt tensioner w/pulley, upper and lower deflector pulleys, and the drive belt on 2 E90's. The parts are oem bmw i ordered from the dealership. And the two pulleys on the tensioner are smooth, not ribbed.
