Cobb PTF smooth?

hey

I have had JB4 for over a year. My car was stock now it is FBO with RB's.
I have a boost tip problem and boost oscillating problem. i have adjusted wastegates and can control boost tip in but cant stop the "jerk".

I have had this issue with different back end flashes before and after installing RB's.

Now that i have RB's I would like a smooth car.

This only happens with 20-60% throttle around 1400 rpm. It feels like an automatic dropping back a gear.

I'm over it, can this be tuned out or do i have a hardware issue?

As for logs i have a few, what happens is the pedal input is steady but the throttle shoots up around 80% even though pedal input is only 20-30%, which results in the "auto dropping back a gear feeling" this is in a 6 spd manual.

Cant upload .csv files so there is only one image.

They will sort it out for ya. PTF's tuning is the definition of smooth with a ton more power. Try it and report back.

Yes it can be tuned out as it is more likely PID related and I am sure PTF already has a cure for that

Yeah, that's something we can take care of. If you want you can shoot an email to sales@protuningfreaks.com and get directly in touch with Jake, Dzenno or Nishan.

Looks like menu 12 is set too high but can't tell without the csv.

Never had a problem with any of my cobb maps, be it ots or ptf. Ots throttle mapping kind of sucks but i love the ptf maps.

But either way im sure someone will be able to fix it somehow.

The BMS back end flashes loaded via Cobb are fairly obsolete so it makes sense you're having issues with them. They moved everything over to the free stuff. Also you're not likely to get any good tuning advice on this forum. Try posting the details in the n54tech support forum and they should have some ideas for you.

Hiring a professional tuner to help you sort it out is also a great way to go. Wedge and PTF are possible options there.

Terry sent new file that changed throttle input. Noticed the difference straight away.

Problem solved.

I dont have a bt cable at the moment so i have just flashed with cobb to get a pump fuel flash going.

I'm not sure how much more power the BT cable is good for but I'm pleased with the power I have at the moment.

Can't wait for BT cable to turn up but I'm not convinced it can make anymore hp with pump fuel.
