Cleaned my tips

First wash where I've properly cleaned my tips. Some water, wire wool 0000 and a bit of left over soap. Then some Autosol

The insides are not as clean as I'd like. I really want to get my hands on some P21S Polishing Soap but can't find a seller in the UK.

Car in all its glory after a 'maintenance' wash:

Nice. I was wondering what people used to clean the tips. I used autosol before but didnt use the wirewool so will have to give that a go.

Cheers guys. Surprisingly didn't take that much effort. They weren't in that bad a state but it was annoying knowing they were dirty. Bit OCD I guess

The wire wool did wonders laying a clean foundation! Soot came off with ease. Now just need to keep on top of it.

Throw a layer of alloy wheel sealer on them and it should wipe off easier next time they get a bit filthy.

Nice work mate look like new.

Garage List
I prefer the meguairs nxt metal polish.

Wire wool is great if they're really caked up. If it's just mild contamination, a scouring pad with polish, followed by paper towel and polish works a treat.
