You will need to select the configuration. I suggest going to the dealer and taking the stock plate holder with you as soon as the car arrives.

The GoMini one isn't idea. The plate eventually bends and will catch on the car wash rollers. I'll post the that was introduced at Bimmerfest by the BMW Pedals people.
It was very adjustable and coverd the entire plate.

*irony on

Special offer, but only if you buy it within the next 10 minutes... of course it is $12.50 for S&H on top... and they gift you a second one for free, that way you can always have a fake plate for any case.

*irony off

This is what I have in my 135i. It has worked flawlessly for the last 5 yrs.

http://skenedesign.com/FPBracket/Choose.shtml

I personally do not like the tow hook option because it really brings attention to the plate when it sits on the side of the front bumper.

If anyone is interested in the Pedal Haus unit, you can email them and say you went to Bimmerfest but they ran out of the E92 ones. He said he'd still sell it to me for $50.

How much is that Skeene unit?

No plates in the back either

The secret for not getting pulled over is leaving the dealer plates installed. No plates for 2 years now.

.

It was $49.95

If OH ever changes to no front plate required I will be a happy camper, but in the mean time I plan to get another one of these units for the M4. Need to get the car first to figure out what the right size will be...

That's the whole idea with the one that I'm getting. Just flip it up when you are getting pulled over.

hahaha, priceless! I really want to do this actually... it seems like the install is pretty straightforward, but not having any experience myself with BMW wiring, is there anything that I should be keeping in mind from vets out there? Or is this something that might be worth seeing if the dealer would be up to just mounting it for me real quick before final pickup? Not sure if they would given the 3rd party nature... Kind of off-topic but thought it worth the ask.
