Just a little advice for my AE install...
As the title states, I need just a little help with my AE install. I have a 2006 330i and I have swapped plenty of AEs out on this car as when I first got it I went the eBay route. I don't know the brand of these but my buddy said they are some kind of OEM Approved upgrade for my E90 (he is a BMW tech so I believe him). My only question is, since these upgrades come with an inline resistor and an anti-flicker resistor what do I do with he plastic access cover for the AEs as it will not fit with all this extra stuff. Do I need to modify it, has anyone ever dealt with something similar. If hey had directions I would have love to have read them. But yea if anyone has any advice please let me know.
This is the plastic access cover I am talking about: Here is the bulb assembly with the Anti-flicker an Inline Resistors:

OMG wtf is all that crap LOL! Should've just bought MTEC V.4 from E92-Lighting. I don't recall having all that extra junk when I installed mine lol...

When I used led replacements, I literally left all that crap in the box and plugged directly into the bulb, never had any issues.
So i'd try without all the extra crap, and if you have no issues then why not.

just saw this post now. Wow that kit is Massive! looks like the manufacturer used the power supply from a E92 headlight and never took into consideration the space constraints of the E90 pre-lci headlight. If your looking for another option we also have the LUX E90 V5.2 lights available.

Yea you are probably right, there was a set that came with the car when I first got it, don't know the brand but they ended up burning out after about 3 months or so of me driving her.
