Looks like the games have begun between Audison and Helix... Prices look pretty similar on the European sites that have them both in stock. Pretty brilliant that companies are starting to give us some choices!

I've upgraded the speakers in my hifi using a combination of focal and BSW (except woofers) and it's sounds better.

I'm really looking at an oem amp replacement but live in australia so shipping sometimes is a bitch. Has anyone tried this amp or can recommend something else?

I think Technic is your best bet for a rundown on the Audison. I've heard the Helix Match on the stock speakers tuned by folk who know what they're doing 1000 times better than I do and it's pretty fantastic. Results with any DSP setup are going to be dependent on how well tuned it is for your speakers, I'd think.
