M3 Rep Bumper & Under Body Panels
First of all I have a 2006 e90 325xi pre-lci, and I recently hit a raccoon screwing up my front bumper pretty badly.
I am going to purchase an m3 rep bumper (most likely this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/05-08-BMW-E9...4ad6bb&vxp=mtr ) and was wondering if I will still be able to run the stock pre-lci underbody panels (I believe its the belly pan), or do I have to get one meant for an m3 bumper assuming that it would still fit properly. Also is it completely necessary to run them or is it just a safety precaution? Any help/info would be great, thanks! |

Stock one works, the reps are designed for use with stock panels. On my E92, no need to drill extra holes or anything.
I would keep them, I've gone a few weeks on my other car without running it while I was working on some stuff and if you drive in the rain at all the engine gets messy. |
