Rear license plate holder

My rear license plate is screwed into a flat plastic holder which is itself seated into the trunk with two square plastic snaps that snap into square holes in the trunk. After having some work done, one of the snaps is loose and when I shut the trunk, it pops out. Anyone have something similar? Any idea what this holder/bracket is called and where I can get a new one?

I have the exact same issue - if I hit a big bump or something my license plate dangles on for dear life. Haven't figured out a solution, I'm debating just using some tape on the trunk side to grab the white snap on the other side.

Good call. I use the realoem website but I assumed this was some random dealership thing and not a genuine BMW part. I'll look there first next time!
