I don't recall seeing it at the dealer at all, and I definitely like the look of it.
I currently have an M3 style replica and the damn thing is starting to separate from the trunk, so I figured now might be a nice time to try and find this one. It looks like it's on a pre-LCI with a different kind of bumper- perhaps an aerodynamic kit...? I'm thinking it might not be available for a 2011 LCI E93 at all... Not really sure how it would look with my MTech set up with a black sapphire and coral red combo- it might not work. Thoughts and ideas of where to get this one? |

Ha ha I thought as much...
I guess it's better on the more stock looking non MTech set up This is the picture of the one that's currently coming off my trunk- maybe I should just reattach it huh? |

It is one of the m aerodynamic parts, there was a lip for the standard bumper, a rear diffuser that was unique and that trunk spoiler. Tischer has it http://www.getbmwparts.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462
Trunk didn't change so it would fit all years e93. Rob

Thanks Rob, as always. That's what I thought.
Yeah bro I was actually going to do that but on a BSM car I doubt CF would be noticeable at all. I guess I'll just rip off the roof spoiler and reattach it- should make a nice weekend project! So is beta link available to the masses LOL |

Get the JL motoring performance style version. He has one specifically for the convertibles and I hear it has decent fitment.

Yep I'm thinking the same thing bro- better than mine right now right?
The only thing that I'm on the fence about is the CF finish. I honestly don't have anything else on my BSM convertible right now that would justify a CF trunk spoiler. I was on the fence about the CF mirror caps, or perhaps a set of front splitters but not sure... Everyone always says, and I say to others to ask the opinion- you should have at least one other supporting cosmetic CF mod on the outside of the car to justify another, although I won't lie- that trunk spoiler looks damn good compared to the one I have now I think if it were available in BSM finish I would've pulled the trigger already. |

I also have the M3 spoiler painted to match and I do love how subtle it is. But anytime I see a car on the road with the performance version I say to myself, damn that looks good! So I'm just going to wait until mine begins to lift off like yours and I'll be replacing it with this. Here's my rear currently with the M3 spoiler. The performance would match the aggressiveness much better now. |

And don't worry about having other CF on the car, you could always get a CF diffuser to tie things together. But you'd never be able to really see a front lip, mirrors, and a spoiler in the same picture anyway.
Plus the CF I think goes best with black. It blends in nicely and has the "subtle contrast" that I'm a big fan of. If you check out the link I posted there's a black m3 with the spoiler and it looks amazing. |

Yes that does look pretty good let me post some pics of my car just to get an idea here of what I'm working with.
It's MTech all around so it already looks somewhat aggressive for what it is. The spoiler I have on there is an M3 style one, and it's a bit subtle compared to the front end, so I'm thinking this spoiler you shared with me would be the perfect little cosmetic facelift in the rear that I need. I have a great picture of the current trunk spoiler in a post above- just trying to bring myself to justify the upgrade for 300+ shipping |

Gorgeous car! That performance spoiler will be perfect!
And same, $300 is a hefty blow for a spoiler but you know what they say it's better to do it right the first time. Or else you'll end up spending more. Besides I bet that original one you linked to might be more than 300 when you get it painted. Just be sure when you order (if you do) to know what JL has for a return policy. I messaged the owner of the black E93 M3 on the linked images (he's on M3post) who had it and said the fitment was decent but not perfect, and another guy on M3post said the same thing in his photo thread. From my knowledge some fit better than others which is why I've just decided to wait til mine gives out on me. |

I appreciate the compliment- yeah that's what I'm thinking too man, but as you can see the trunk spoiler I have on there now isn't too shabby, but hell, I'm supposing that somebody would buy it off me- what you think it's worth LOL But yeah, in all seriousness that fitment concern definitely concerns me- especially at that price point. I can't imagine everybody's fitment would be that much different, as we pretty much retained the same trunk throughout the years. Then again, the one that I have on there now isn't exactly the best fitment in the world either, as you can see. |

That's tough I have no idea what it's worth lol. Hopefully you can sell it to cover atleast 1/3 or 1/2 the cost of the performance style.
Mine was 150 painted and shipped. I feel like I could sell it for 100 shipped? It's in flawless condition. |

Unfortunately no. The only spoiler I've ever had is my M3 one.
I was hoping you could be the guinea pig.... Hahaha But seriously I've talked to a few guys and they've all liked it. It's the only performance style option for the vert, and they all said fits well just not perfect. |

Well mine is definitely far from perfect so hell, it can't be any worse!
I have to wait until I get little money ahead before I spring forward though... even then- once I get it I'll have to have somebody local help me, because I suck at lining these things up, and I'm even worse at attaching them I can remove my oil catch can and put back my PCV blow by valve back on, and even install my own reverse LEDs into my tails, but I can't attach a freaking spoiler to a trunk... go figure! |
