I have not seen this one yet but am in the market for something like this that tells me temps and boost and timing 0-60-100, etc.

IMO the dislikes outweigh the likes at least for the F22 but I can see this in my E46.

Pros:

• Less than half price of the Awron *but with less options
• Diagnostic Fault Code Display and Clearing
• does not cover entire vent - leaving some functionality (basically half the size)

Cons:

• takes over OBD port and needs to be unplugged if you need OBD access
• display looks outdated compared, like an alarm clock or microwave display
• not touch screen
• cant control with steering wheel buttons
• displays less values/options *but only compared to one double its price

I've been very happy with the (very similar) P3 gauge in my GTI. No issues with visibility (though I would have preferred a center vs side vent option)

It was my first mod .

Great piece of tool in my opinion since we have zero gauges, albeit the hidden menu.

Aesthetically Ok and "OEM" enough to blend in to the interiors.

Functions - Boost, IAT, Coolant, EGT, 0-100 and a few more .

Can clear error codes too but unfortunately it doesn't clear the code 0420 from the Catless downpipe which I'm using the BMS Canbus tool to delete whenever it pops up anywhere between intervals of 250-500km

Thought long and hard about this and decided it might be a neat toy (Awron, too) but how often do I really need to know this level of detail on all my car's systems and subsystems? I think technology has trumped the necessity unless, of course, you're a hard-core racer or tuner. All the sports cars I've had with all their gauges and only once was any of them useful--but with all the white smoke billowing out from under the hood I already knew there had been a catastrophic incident. Check your fluids periodically and drive a few easy miles to warm things up before mashing the accelerator and you should be OK. If something does go wrong you've got one heck of a warranty!
