The 335d with steptronic gearbox measured 266 rear wheel horsepower!
Thats pretty good I think The powerloss with auto would be around 20%, meaning 332 hp at the flywheel, thats a lot more than the rated 286 hp. Link here: http://www.rri.se/popup/performanceg...p?ChartsID=688 |

I agree you won't get 20% drivetrain loss when the wheels/tires are removed.
And I don't think the autos lose 20% drivetrain loss even WITH the wheels and tires on. It's probably closer to 16-17% (manuals are about 13-14%). I think Nikolas is probably about right with a 10% loss when measured at the hub. That would mean about 315-318 hp at the crank. Is there a "chip" or piggyback for the diesel yet? |
