French navigation??

A question for those of you in Quebec and use English iDrive system like me:

How do you voice command French street addresses?
In French or English-pronounced French?

Mine actually says Montréal with é.
It's all about the accent and the rest is English I guess?

trial an error.. I gave up on using the voice commands on my E91 French or English.. I hope it'll be better with my new F31.

I tried my extremely long and complicated French address many times and in many different ways. It would always guide me to some place in the US.

Just tried it this morning, and the NAV wanted to send me to Ontario, no address in particular.

Then, I gave the full address so fast, that the system requested the state/province, city, street and number separately, asking to spell the address.
This way, it did work right away.

I tried pre-entering province and city too. Didn't help.
But then my French is bad
