Installed used adaptive headlights

So I bought a 2011 335is that had a bunch of front end parts that were missing. The headlights were missing as well.

I purchased used ones off of eBay and installed them, however, they adaptive parts do not move when the wheel is turning and one of the headlights has the projector inside of it stuck to the right.

Do they need to be programmed to work or do they just automatically start working after driving for a certain amount of time?

You'll will need programming for sure. But when you installed the headlights did you install the small modules as well? The AHD module and led module for each light.

Your Frm will need coding

I bought them as complete headlights so everything is on there. Both of those things need to be programmed?

Note that you also need the right FRM (footwell module that controls the lights) for the lights. If you have a FRM from a Halogen or normal bi-xenon car, it won't work with AHL.
