Question BMW CPO warranty transferable?

Hey guys, just a quick question

I called BMW Melbourne yesterday (i enquired about a F30 328 M Sport last month and they have been asking me about it haha) I told them that I had changed my mind and was going with a E92 335i and asked them, if the car I want to purchase has 1 year of CPO warranty left, is it transferable to my name.
The guy I talked to from the Pre Owned team of BMW Melbourne asked if it was a MY10+ and when I said it was a MY08 but the owner had purchased it from BMW with CPO warranty and started explaining in more detail he pretty much cut me off, said no and hung up... lol

anyway, I then called BMW AU and asked them, the girl on the phone was kind of confusing and said that CPO warranty IS transferable but new car warranty is not. She said to take the car to any bmw dealership and transfer it, but the owner before me might need to approve or something.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks a bunch! will hopefully be a E92 owner before the end of the month!

Good luck with anything BMW dealership wise.

Unless you're buying a new car (paying for their commission), they don't give a f*** about you.

^+1 bunch of as$holes, seems like every dealer in Australia is the same, sometimes I'd pay a little more and get it from them straight away but no, always stuck up lol.....don't know why tho....not like the people that work there own one....right?

And OP it should be transferable...don't see why it wouldnt, you will love ur e92

Even new car sales: I called 3 months ago around 9am to inquire about runout stock of E92's and was told by the receptionist that the sales staff were all in a meeting. She took my details and I was told someone would call me shortly.

No one ever called. I ended up buying a used E92 with low km from an interstate dealer.
