AUX connector to phone hum
Hi guys
I've seen a lot of people have this issue where there is a constant hum when connecting the default aux cable to a phone to play back music. What cable did you purchase to fix the hum? |

See if you can plug your cable into someone else's car. That will at least let you know if it is the cable for sure.

I had the same problem with my iPhone 4S but not with my iPhone 5S.
I bought this cable off amazon and it took care of the problem perfectly: http://www.amazon.com/Kensington-Red...e+reducing+aux

I had that problem on my iPhone 4....my nexus 5 has no problems, its night and day difference. Also are u using a 2 in 1 cable, I.e USB/aux one end, other end connection to ur s4? Try using a aux only cable (if u ha not already tried)

my iPhone does it when connected to the cars aux cable, however if you have it 2 or 3 (can't remember) clicks down from full it shouldn't do it. Not sure what causes it :S
