Regarding the Jags, I too am having a hard time distinguishing between the XE and the XF. But I'm new to the brand and I'm going to guess that there are many non-bimmerphiles who would have the same problem distinguishing between a 5 and a 7. Same bangers, different sizes? The only argument that I have with you is the weight of the new Jags. What you said may have been true in the past, but take a look at the new models. The new XF-S AWD model is listed here in the States at 3880 lbs (1760 kg). That's hundreds of pounds less than the 535 or 550 xDrives (at 380 hp, it falls between the two). It was that single stat that got me into the Jag showroom to look at the car.

Thank you about your comments on my design: I've been drawing cars since I was a kid and am learning to draw in photoshop. Rendering future cars is exciting and to be able to share it with enthusiasts is rewarding too! Last but not least, congrats on the fine line up of automobiles past and present, is the Jaguar your 1st automatic?? Cheers from down under (love Boston: lovely people in your beautiful city!).

Wow, you work so quickly! Looking real good so far. Sorry if i sound ungrateful, but can you please do them again in the colors available on the f10? just want to get an idea of what colors would be best. i would do them myself but am horrible at photoshop.

Now, let's see the profile... This looks like a HUGE car by the size of the drivers' head!
A little teaser...

I can do a rough outline of the side like I did with the front shortly. Hard to do on a phone with my finger haha. |

@Paul-Bracq-BMW Looks like you'd be the prime candidate to do the M5 render as well!

I guess I'm still used to the e39 size so all newer iterations of the 5er look too big for me!

I've would have put them had they not been masked by the camouflage . need to be as realistic as possible!

Interesting. The most realistic render seen yet.
For those saying the grille is too big, consider the angle of the car on which it was photographed with a very big close-up! The new shadow character line than runs around the rear Hofmesiter kink and diagonally runs along the glasshouse helps the main mid line split the car in half allowing the bottom section to be more coke bottleish it defines the wheel arches and allows the car to sit with a 17"wheel and not look two under wheeled like the E60 was. The main character line joins with the shadow line to suggest it is melting into the metal and forming one line with stops before the front wheel arch but visually aligns with the air breather with no connecting line. The air breather does not utilise the Hockey stick trim but an impression in the metal itself.

Thanks Scott26, this has been a labour of love trying to decipher the spy pictures. I'm sure the real car will look better than the render for obvious reasons...
