I also find it ok. I had an S204 and the climate system was a bit stronger in that temperature differences were more instant, but in actuality slower changes are better for your body.
A/C in office buildings etc. in Germany is also much weaker, and in many parts we don't even have A/C here as most people don't find it necessary.
