What mods should I do on my 22 540i M Sport?

It’s been about 2 months since I got my g30 and I think it’s time to do some mods. What should I begin with especially for better sound, thinking of a resonator delete and mst intake. Star what you’ve done and if possible share clips.

Start with the res delete, if you want more (which most likely will happen) you can always add an axle-back later. Added bonus with that route is getting quad tips instead of vacuum suckers. Make sure you get a system that is valved (or reuses stock valve).

If you want more sound from your engine bay I'd recommend getting a catted downpipe, you'll get much more audible turbo spool. It'd be relatively expensive though, since you'd have to get the Active Autowerke one to avoid getting a CEL. Unless you pair the downpipe with a JB4 tune, then you can get a much cheaper one. Most people that get an aftermarket intake end up realizing after a while that it wasn't really worth the money. Just my 2 cents.

Here are some different configurations. Try not to focus too much on the burbles, but more on the exhaust noise itself.

Catless DP + axle-back

Catted DP + res delete (my car)

Stock DP + cat-back (same as res delete + axle-back)

I chuckled at “vaccum suckers. “
Btw I was able to install quad tips on non m sport bumper along with m performance exhaust.
