228i M Sport delivery on Wednesday!
My AW on Black 228i M Sport came in a little early and I take delivery on Wednesday after work. Yay!
My CA was kind enough to shoot me a couple photos right off the truck. Still all wrapped up with the shipping blocks in. Look at that wheel gap! I'll take my own photos when I get her home, but for now: |

Well, it's a lease, so out the door doesn't quite apply, but:
228i M Sport line Lightning package Cold Weather package Manual transmission MSRP - $37625 Sale price - $35744 (so about 5% under MSRP) MF - .0013 I value a low monthly payment (trying to buy a house), so I'm doing $6000 due at signing. This includes sales tax up front, fees and a down payment of about $3430 with a monthly payment of $312. |

Congrats !! Would love to hear your review on this car once you've had a chance to drive it, especially that you're coming from an E36 M3 and a comparison between the two.
I'm thinking of a 2 series on the next few months for a daily driver - it will either be 228i m sport, mbrake, variable steering or m235. Will be a manual transmission either way. My wife uses our 13 328 and I love that car but it has the 8spd sport auto. Would love to hear your feedback on the 6spd manual combined with the 228 engine. It certainly is significantly more fuel efficient than the manual m235

Congrats? How do you like it? I hear the new 2014 2.0 sounds and runs smoother than previous years...

Do the rear turn signals flash red or amber? Can't find any pictures online, and never bothered checking before I ordered mine

Red. The LED panel in the middle is always lit solid red (at night at least), the brake is a red strip underneath and the indicators are red patches above it. |

I don't know what ambient lighting is supposed to be, but I doubt I have it. I do notice that when I unlock the car at night, the color is cool, but when I open the door it changes to warm. I rather suspect that it's just different bulbs turning on/off. I was intending to take photos once I got her home, but I just ended up driving a bunch instead! I'm planning a first wash this weekend if the weather holds up, so I'll certainly take better photos then. |

I was told by a CA that the power seats needed to be ordered to get the adjustable side bolsters (not that they always know what they're talking about) Car looks great btw. |

It was the same in the E82. I had manual seats, in my 135i, but electric adjustable side bolsters.

I promised some better pics if the weather held up for a wash so here we go. They're not the best. I'd much rather have gone out for a proper shoot, but I ended up too busy today. Hopefully these should do for now.
