Anyone know if there are pictures out there of the different trims the 540i w/ M Sport pkg offers? Deciding what goes best with black leather.... probably most of the trims, but not a fan if the brown wood grain look.

Here's how the wood trims looks in the G30 catalog from the German site.

Make notice that the 4LH Fineline Cove Wood Trim is in fact a matt trim.

No Ash Grain White trim as on the 6 series.
Here's the Individual trim for the g30, found them in the German catalog, so I don't know what they're called in English, other than the Piano Black.

XEW is "Fine-wood trim Sen Light Brown"
4WY is "Fine-wood trim Plum Brown high-gloss"

Yes, it must be the same trim since there's only one gray poplar trim.

I saw a sample, it had more brown mixed in with the grey. I went with grey poplar, wanted something different.

I was excited about the fineline cove trim, thinking the matte finish and texture would rival the bias grain walnut in the S90 or unpolished gray oak of the A4. Instead it looks like a foil finish Ikea cabinet. BMW just hasn't figured out how to make matte finish veneers look good.

Went to a local dealer and took this today. I hadn't even seen the leather or wood I ordered. (side note: technically I haven't driven the car either but assume its a little better than the past one just like every other time) Completely speculative. Wanted something not shiny. Overall, I think it looks great!

Thanks for the pic!!! I was about to order mine with fineline cove but decided to go with the fineline ride wood trim, I think the gloss makes the car little more luxurious inside especially since I got the ceramic controls.

Good call. I went to see this fineline cove trim hoping it was on par with the matte open pore grey oak in the A4 or the bias grain Oak in the S90, with which I am obsessed. Sadly it has all of the depth of a thermofoil Ikea cabinet front.

Once my build starts I might have to shell out 1k for the piano black, I honestly don't like any of these trims offered for free.
