Any sign of any offers deals for the new wheels sets as winter sets? I have the 19" m wheels. Thinking of getting same set for winters. Don't like idea of going smaller for 6 months of the year.

BMW website shows 17" V-spoke style 618 for £302.84 each.
tyres online ~£500 total £1700 would it be OK to just swap the tyres over and not purchase a dedicated set of alloys? |

There isn't any "issue" swapping just the tires as long as the eTIS (TPMS) procedure isn't botched and you select the new version of the tire. Just my opinion, but the added time and hassle of swapping tires vs a dedicated Winter setup isn't worth the small amount of savings the first time round. Labor is going to eat that up anyway. |

Ordinarily I would prefer to have all only one set of tyres to use all seasons. I am not used to changing tyre as I used t o liv bin the warmer climes of South England before moving up North East.
The review says Michelin cross-climate all season tyre is as good as a lot of winter tyres. Any experience of this tyre by anybody. |

Just ordered these yesterday for the winter:
684 V Spoke winter wheels and tyre set tyres on the alloys are 245/45R18 V Goodyear Ultra Grip 8 Performance Runflats I have gone down to 18" not staggered and got a really good deal from my dealer. I also found out that if you have the M sport breaks you cant go below the 18" wheel size as the alloy will not be able to clear the breaks. So those who may be looked for the minimum 17" you can go down to would be out of luck.

managed to get them just over £1900 mate. the alloys themselves are £1730 on their own.
Loyalty does pay sometimes. I also bought some black grills which they did a good deal on too. Better than cotswalds on both things Prices have gone up this month now too so was lucky when i went in to get the deal
