Yep.. the chrome exhaust tips were a separate purchase yet included with my purchase - however it states Mpeformance exhaust with price and then below Chrome exhaust tip finishers with a price..

I purchased MPE for my 540I and paid like 700 dollars for chrome performance tips

but it completes the package... what can you do

Tips were included with my deal, £3350.00 all in included labor too.

I got the MPPSK, bumper trim, exhaust tips and install/labor for a total of US$3900....which seems really good to me. As reference, just the MPPSK is listed at around $2400.

The gains feel much more than the numbers suggest. It turns a good car into a great one.

Yeah, mark up is excessive in my opinion. well thats the way life is here....sighs

OK guys....on all your recommendations I have bitten the bullet and ordered the MPPSK. My dealer says they should get it in at the end of this week.

Hope I will not be disappointed.

Yes will report back with my findings.

You can definitely feel my G31 is a tad slower than the wife's G30.

Hopefully the MPPSK on the G31 will resolve this....and of course sound better.

You will want to open it up a lot.
Looked again today at the New M5, not much different interior wise to mine, just the steering wheel and gear shifter, the rest the same.
Seat shape different.

Hope your right. Now summer is here I am driving around with the windows open. I hope the sound will be louder with the new exhaust.

What you mean 100 km/h

That was the problem with the M5 we had. When you were exploiting SOME of it's potential....the fun was over too soon, because you could end up in prison.

Hi, I presume then you had the MPE port installed. Coincidently, I have on order the same car (540i M Sport Bluestone on Ivory with Gray Poplar and 20") with the "accessory" MPE port installed. I assume they change out the stock ZMP rear diffuser during the install to look like the pic below (outlets are large and match the tip shape). Is that how yours look? Oh...and yes, it would look better gloss black. Thanks

I found something interesting to back up what many of us have said in regard to the performance kit making more than the advertised power...was looking at Dinan tune for the x3 m40i (my dad recently got one) which shares the same power/torque (355hp/369lbft) as our MPPSK 540i's. According to dinan, crank hp is 445 and torque 440. Wheel hp and torque match what bmw lists (which is crank). Even if dinan is a bit optimistic, the MPPSK is easily a 400+ hp car. Quite impressive imo.

I had the MPPSK installed two weeks ago and I am scheduled to have the Dinan Stage 1 installed later this week. The MPPSK is a great addition that brings the car alive. I can't wait to see what 400+ HP does!
