I believe my last car with full size spare was the below 2000 E39 528i M Sport with the OEM 3pc BBS-style wheels. Even the spare used the same 3pc wheel, except it was the narrower front version.

I’ve got the original spare in my E39. Brand new OEM wheel with a 2001 or older tire on it. I’ve never check the pressure. That sucker is probably flat😂

The awesome Style 19 with 7 center spokes? I always wanted those for my E39 but you had to pay for the V8 to get them. If my 5 year old spare is down 40psi, then your 23 year old spare is probably creating a vacuum.

In the US the 540i6MT had the highly desirable style 19 3pc wheels. Loved my 528i M Sport 5MT and the wheels, but they were a bitch to clean.

What did I do to it today....
Hit a Fecking pothole with the nearside front and rear, christ on a bike, what a noise and swore the rear felt like it jumped up. Was pouring down with rain 'B' road, lorry in front one coming the otherway, had nowhere to go Quick inspection, still looked to be in one piece and drove ok, no pressure change.... wheels off and inspection tomorrow.... and feel a claim coming on to the County Council highways, which could make them cough at £743 per wheel plus tyres plus fitting plus geo set up... ouch! They'll likely ignore but if there is damage |

State of the bloody roads is a joke, boils my piss it does & yet every year local councils increase the Council Tax, allow more & more houses to be built, which must produce even more CT revenue & then cut back spending on roads & services whilst the additional households, people & traffic use more resource's & course more congestion, it’s FUBAR

Today, I removed the OEM rear spoiler, removed the adhesion tape, cleaned the deck lid then applied my RW Carbon F90 CS style spoiler to my 23 M550i. I must say it was easier than I thought, perfect fit and looks way better than the OEM. Perfect fit and finish! Too dark ( night time to get pics, but will come soon. Next up is the front lip spoiler.

Last night, I installed my RW Carbon front lip splitter. Looks awesome.
PS: I got the lip on in garage just before tornados touched down in the area. House running on generator. Pics will follow. |

We were under a tornado watch (central Ohio), too. From the looks of things, guessing you're in either far Eastern Indiana or NW Ohio. Hope you all are safe!

Just placed the order for the set of drilled front & rear discs (rotors), ATE ceramic rear pads, front & rear brake pad sensors, all in for £730 ($930) including delivery, which I thought was pretty reasonable, fitting I’ll do myself.
Unfortunately they didn’t have any ceramic front pads available so I’ll have to keep looking for a set of those, am trying to avoid the EBC pads but may have to go with them if I can’t find ceramic ATE pads or similar. I guess one of the benefits of being ‘my own man’ nowadays is not having to justify having spent almost £1,600 ($2,000) so far this year on ‘unnecessary’ car stuff Edit: Having just spent an hour or so trying to find ceramic front pads it appears none are available & only options seem to be EBC Red or YellowStuffs. So as I’ll be changing the brake’s myself I’ve decided to refit the almost new existing front Brembo pads & see how they feel, if I decide I need more stop I’ll get a set of EBC RedStuffs, did also look at the Yellows but I think the reds would be more suited
